When loading from the CPC (Caspian Pipeline Consortium) terminal, a remote oil loading device - this is in the sea, six kilometers from the coast - there was a release of crude oil. The volume is not clear, ”the agency’s interlocutor explained.
They also reported that a special operational headquarters had already been created with the participation of the forces and means of the CPC. “They involve their professional emergency response units, which deal with the aftermath. We alerted the forces of the branch of the Marine Rescue Service, but the request from the owner of the terminal has not yet been received, ”the source said.
